Commercial scale models
Hand-built scale models of offices, retail and mixed-use buildings, shown in their street for tenants, investors and planning committees.
A commercial model has two audiences: the tenants and investors it has to win, and the committee that has to approve it.
Both want the building in its street. The model shows the plinth and the entrance, the height against the neighbours, and how the block meets the pavement.
The archive below holds 16 commercial models, built at scales from 1:75 to 1:750, for projects in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. Each was cut by laser and CNC in ABS, acrylic and wood, assembled by hand and airbrushed in our workshop.
