The archive — High Rise
High-rise scale models
Hand-built scale models of towers and high-rise buildings, from skyline massing at district scale to facade grid and podium up close.
A tower is read from below and from far away, and the model has to hold both: the silhouette against the skyline, and the facade grid, podium and entrance up close.
Height is the hard part. A tall model must stand true, with floors that line up from base to crown.
The archive below holds 8 high rise models, built at scales from 1:75 to 1:1000, for projects in Australia, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Each was cut by laser and CNC in ABS, acrylic and wood, assembled by hand and airbrushed in our workshop.
